These models have been semi-weather proofed & calibrated with our Mega Picture Enhancement Technology (MPET) for outdoor shaded/covered patio areas. Whereas direct rain & sun will not come in contact with the unit. Thus, they are an affordable alternative when compared to our high end units than to just installing a regular “indoor” TV not made or warrantied for outdoor use.
